82. Running Late Again

The absence of time was not really an issue for Becky now.  The plane flew away without her on it.  She could go back to the newsstand and buy her magazine after all.

  1. Cool, she goes from being frantically late to having gobs of time on her hands. Air travel in the 21st Century. Great one!

  4. I missed one plane once and it was for a business meeting in Minneapolis (I didn't react like Becky as I was somewhat of a lunatic trying to come up with what I would tell my client waiting on the other end). I missed one plane for a pleasure trip (a Colorado commuter plane) because I was chatting with a friend over coffee and we didn't hear the announcement. That time it was ok. Love the looking at the bright side of life!!!

  6. Actually having missed the plane is oddly liberating. The bit about the magazine made me laugh.

  8. There's a freedom that comes with missing a flight. All of a sudden time looks different. Thanks for linking up. Please come on back tomorrow for the new challenge.
